The short version

If you read nothing else
  • Your own project agreement always comes first.
  • Nothing starts until we've agreed scope and price in writing.
  • Once you've paid in full, the final work is yours.
  • Either side can end things fairly, with notice.

Every section below has its own plain-English note.

Section 01

About these terms

These terms apply when you use this website and when you work with [Cevora Studio legal name], registered at [registered address] ("Cevora Studio", "we", "us"). By using the site or engaging us, you agree to them.

Every project also has its own proposal or agreement setting out the scope, timeline and price. If it says something different from these terms, your project agreement wins.

Section 02

Using this website

You're welcome to browse, share links and get in touch. Please don't try to break, overload or get unauthorised access to the site, and don't copy its design, text or code for your own use.

The projects in our portfolio belong to us or to our clients, and are shown with their permission.

We keep the site accurate, but what's on it is general information — not a quote, and not professional advice for your situation.

Section 03

Starting a project

A project starts when you accept our proposal — in writing, or by paying the deposit. The proposal sets out what we'll deliver, when, and for how much.

Proposals are valid for [30 days]. Figures from the quote form on this site are a guide to help you plan, not a formal offer.

Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before we start it, so there are no surprise charges.

Section 04

Payment

Unless your proposal says otherwise, we ask for a [50%] deposit before work starts and the balance on completion — or in milestones for longer projects. Ongoing services are billed [monthly in advance].

Invoices are due within [14 days]. If a payment is more than [14 days] overdue, we may pause work until it's settled, and timelines move accordingly.

Prices exclude [VAT / applicable taxes] unless the proposal says otherwise.

Section 05

Your part

Good work needs a few things from you: content, access and feedback when we ask for them, and one person who can make decisions.

Delays on your side can move the timeline. If a project waits on you for more than [30 days], we may invoice the work done so far and restart when you're ready.

You confirm you have the right to use everything you give us — text, images, logos, data — and that using it won't break the law or anyone else's rights.

Section 06

Feedback and revisions

Each proposal includes a set number of revision rounds. Changes beyond those are welcome and quoted at our usual rates before we make them.

Timelines are our honest estimate. If anything might move them, we'll tell you early — not on the deadline.

Section 07

Who owns the work

When your project is paid in full, you own the final deliverables — the designs, copy, code and content we created for you.

We keep ownership of our own tools, templates, frameworks and know-how that we use across projects, and give you a permanent licence to use them as part of your deliverables. Third-party items — fonts, stock images, plugins, software — stay under their own licences, which we pass on to you. Unused concepts and drafts stay ours.

We may show the finished work in our portfolio and case studies. If you'd rather we didn't, just say so.

Section 08

AI in our work

We may use AI tools to speed up parts of a project, but only where you're happy for us to. If you'd rather we avoid it entirely, tell us and we'll scope the project that way from the start.

A person on our team reviews everything AI touches before it reaches you, and we never use your material to train AI models.

Section 09

Confidentiality

We keep your business information, files and account access confidential, and use them only to do your work. That doesn't end when the project does.

If you have your own NDA, we're happy to sign it.

Section 10

Responsibility and liability

We'll do the work with care and skill. What we can't promise are specific results — rankings, sales, leads — because they depend on things outside our control.

As far as the law allows, our total liability for a project is limited to what you paid us for it, and we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't legally be limited.

We're not responsible for third-party services (hosting, platforms, plugins), or for changes someone else makes to the work after we hand it over.

Section 11

Ending a project

Either of us can end a project with [14 days'] written notice. You pay for the work done up to that point, and we hand over everything you've paid for. Ongoing services can be cancelled with [30 days'] notice.

The deposit covers planning and the time we reserve for you, so it isn't refundable once work has started.

Either side may end a project straight away if the other seriously breaks these terms.

Section 12

Changes and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [country / state], and its courts handle any dispute — though we'll always try to sort things out by talking first.

We may update these terms; the date at the top always shows the current version. Changes don't affect projects already under way unless we both agree.

Ask us anything — a real person reads every message and we'll explain it plainly.
